The Rocky Point High School newspaper Eagle’s Eye was awarded a Silver Medalist in the Columbia Scholastic Press Association’s annual competition for school publications. Columbia requires submission of a full year’s worth of publications, so this award was a reflection of all the students’ work over the course of the 2007-2008 school year. Ms. Jessica Rubin, English and Journalism teacher, serves as the newspaper advisor for the Eagle’s Eye.
4th Grade Students Help Residents
of Woodhaven Nursing Home
Students in Patricia Alberti’s 4th grade class collected donations for the residents of Woodhaven Nursing Home. The donations were delivered on Saturday, January 10th. Many of the students and their families personally distributed the items.
